Faro é uma cidade portuguesa situada no Algarve, Sul de Portugal com cerca de 47 mil habitantes, Faro é a sede de um municipio com 202,57 km de área quadrada e com cerca de 64 mil habitantes(2011).
Faro tem um clima subtropical-mediterrâneo, Verões quentes e ensolarados, com temperaturas medias diárias de 27-35 ºC. A temperatura nos meses de Outono e Inverno está entre 8-17 º C.
Faro tem a maior parte dos seus dias de chuva nos meses de inverno, é muito raro chover entre os meses de Junho e Setembro. A temperatura média anual em Faro é de 17-18 ºC.
